At Global Plate, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact through smarter packaging choices. The majority of our packaging is designed to be curbside recyclable in most U.S. states, and we continue to reduce plastic wherever possible. We know sustainability is an ongoing journey, so our team is always developing new solutions that balance eco-friendly practices with food safety and quality.
Right-Sized Boxes
Our custom box-sizing system ensures each order is packed in the most efficient box with the right amount of insulation. This allows delivery vehicles to transport more meals at once, helping reduce fuel use and carbon emissions per box.
Using Recycled Materials
By working closely with forward-thinking suppliers, Global Plate incorporates recycled and reused materials into our packaging whenever possible. Over a third of our packaging by weight includes recycled content, helping reduce waste and conserve resources.
Keeping Ingredients Fresh
Some fresh ingredients need extra protection during delivery to arrive in perfect condition. In certain cases, minimal plastic wrapping helps prevent damage and spoilage, which ultimately reduces food waste.
