Return and Warranty Policies
Guarantee Terms:
Customers are eligible for a refund or Global Plate credit if they encounter a Qualifying Issue with an item covered by the Quality Guarantee. To qualify for this benefit, customers must:
Place a Qualifying Order: This means ordering from a store that displays either a “Quality Guarantee” or “Freshness Guarantee” banner on the app's store page before checkout.
Experience a Qualifying Issue: A Qualifying Issue occurs when an item or items in the order fail to meet the quality standards. Examples of Qualifying Issues include:
Spoiled or Expired Items: Items that are spoiled, expired, or past their expiration date.
Stale or Not Fresh Items: Items that are stale or not fresh.
Incorrect Items: Items that are different from what was ordered.
Missing Items: Items that were ordered but not delivered.
Unsatisfactory Substitutions: Customers are dissatisfied with a replacement item chosen by the shopper.
Damaged or Broken Items: Items that are received damaged or broken.
Unusable Produce, Meat, or Fish: Fruits, vegetables, meats, or fish that are of poor quality and cannot be used.
To report a Qualifying Issue, customers must use the Global Plate app or website’s self-help tool within 24 hours of receiving the order and select the appropriate reason code. Or send a Photo to the self-help tool to show that the item is damaged.
The customer will receive a voucher or discount code for the next purchase in Global Plate. Or will receive a 50% refund back of their purchase.
